Bennett turns 1 this week and he was such a joy to photograph. He loves to explore which makes it hard to keep up with this little guy... especially in the heat! I loved his curly hair, baby teeth and smiles and he loved my Smarties.

What a pleasure it was to capture this couple's engagement portraits. I have know Chris for many years (our dads sing together) and it's hard to believe I'm photographing his engagement. During our session we discovered I even babysat him... even though we are not to far apart in age. Crazy how fast time flies!

Melissa

Meet beautiful Melissa! Such a fun, energetic and amazing young woman. This session was so much fun and Melissa made it very easy for me... she has a natural ability and comfort with being in front of the camera. Through the crazy grasshoppers, rose bushes, sweat, broken glass and just a little bit of blood (cut my toe) this session lands as one of my favorites.

Happy Birthday B

Brandon turned three this past week so we celebrated his birthday on Saturday. Here are a couple of snap shots of his big day. He absolutely loves his new 4-wheeler and we are so fortunate to have great neighbors that he can ride around with.

It was a great day to be a part of photographing a family members wedding because it happened to fall on my husband and my 6 year anniversary. I am not a wedding photographer nor do I plan on becoming one anytime soon. But, I have to say it was a joy to have a taste of wedding photography even if it was for only 15 minutes.
