Winter Wonderland

Just wanted to share some old favorites from last year's winter season. I really hope to find some opportunities over my time off this Christmas season to shoot for me. I miss just taking my camera out and finding the beauty in the simple things.

At less than 3 weeks old I had the opportunity to photography this little beauty. She was amazing throughout the entire session and slept so peacefully.

Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

There is nothing more in life to be thankful for than the gift of a new baby. I had the opportunity to photograph this little baby last weekend. He was so content and such a joy to be around.

vibrant

Okay... do I not have the cutest neighbors ever? I have been so excited to photograph these three and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day. It has been so wonderful getting to know them more and more each day and I look forward to watching them grow through the years.

Energy

I had the opportunity to photograph these two cuties last weekend at the Joslyn Art Museum. It was a challenge to find the right light and keep two active toddlers in one spot with so much around us to look at and distract our focus. But, they did great and we managed to take photos while enjoying the beautiful work around us.

marriage

This couple just cracks me up! We had a lot of fun strolling through the Old Market looking for "artistic" shots and backgrounds. They have been married for 6 years so we went for a more artistic/urban session instead of engagement which was so enjoyable for me. My challenge was making this guy laugh but I'm pretty sure I did most of the laughing.


















And to make him laugh (or think I'm crazy)... just say, "jump!"

This was my second session with this beautiful senior and this time we went for a more urban look. The colors are absolutely amazing and despite the cold we had a blast!

charming

I just adored working with this little charmer. He has the most amazing eyes that just pop against the green grass. He would strike numerous poses for me and was very comfortable with the camera. In all the family shots he just looks so proud!
I love the details in this shot... the tilted head, raised little hand, biting of the lower lip and the turned up feet. They make it a perfect 5-year-old childhood photo!

I loved the interaction between these two! It was so much fun to watch their personalities grow as the session progressed.

Happy Halloween...

A Treat

It was definitely a treat for me to photograph these two. Last year we had a very different experience but this year was a completely different story! Just look at those amazing smiles and adorable subjects. I love this job!

Baby K

This little newborn had me laughing throughout our session. She was so determined not to sleep and kept us all on our toes with her potty breaks. What a beautiful baby girl!

simply amazing

Okay... this little guy was simply amazing! He allowed me to try so many different things and sat so well. He was styling with the cutest shoes and jean jacket. I love sessions like this... one subject, two outfits and one location full of various scenic backgrounds.

Baby B

I absolutely love it when I am blessed with the opportunity to capture a newborn after photographing their mommy's maternity photos. It's so amazing to meet that tiny person just weeks after their birth. This little guy is 7 weeks old and has such amazing eyes and the cutest little lips. He wouldn't sleep for us but did a fantastic job tolerating all my crazy poses!


















I love that mom wanted to incorporate her "mommy beads" she was given at her baby shower. Such a neat idea and adds so much color to his little feet!
