Joyful

Friday's session was one of pure joy for me. Not only did I have the opportunity to photograph adorable children I was also blessed with the opportunity to reunite with a family friend. It's amazing to know someone as a child, grow up with them and their family, go through life's ups and downs and then one day... meet again to capture a beautiful family and the innocence of childhood all over again. The circle of life never stops and I am so grateful when I am given the chance to reconnect with my personal childhood again.

I had such a wonderful time photographing little Isaac. I fell in love with his chubby cheeks right away and his adorable expressions. Love the colors in this session!

Radio Flyer

Oh, what fun I had with these three. Those bib overalls with no shirts and the addition of the Radio Flyer make these images reflect the true innocence of childhood and makes me miss being a kid again. What a wonderful session and sweet family.

Family Time

It was a pleasure photographing the family interaction between these three. This little guy turns 1 this week... Happy Birthday Eli! Thank you for allowing me to capture your family at play.

Went to my in-laws this past weekend for a little get away and relaxation. These were taken during our little fishing expedition. 29 Chigger bites later and this is what I got. Not sure if they were worth the bites but I had fun taking them.

Can you believe these eyes? I was so excited to photograph AJ after meeting him and seeing his adorable baby blues. And, when mom pulled out this hat it was icing on the cake! I just love the color in this session and the way he stands out against the green grass in all his blue! He is absolutely beautiful and was a joy to capture.

I had such a terrific session tonight with this amazing family. It was so much fun to work with older children who were open to anything. I was entertained while hearing their vacation stories and even a little bit about Moose poop :)
