Baby Hudson

Newborn sessions are just so amazing! They bring me back to why I love photography so much. I met such a fun and loving couple this week who have a beautiful new baby to love. Thank you Mary and Jay for being so open with ideas... I have to say that the red chair ordeal is still making me laugh. What a trooper Hudson was through all our attempts!

Amara

Can't forget the dog!
Meet Amara! It was such a perfect day for outdoor portraits on Tuesday and I had the pleasure of photographing this cutie. She is just starting to walk and it was fun watching her take a few steps... it is amazing how fast these milestones pass.

Twins!

More twins! I had my second set of one-year-old twins and these two little guys where on the go. It was difficult getting them both together for more than 5 seconds but once I pulled out the suckers they were so focused. Meet Jacob and Joshua.

Weekend Color

I bought these boots in hopes to use them during a photo shoot and so far it hasn't worked out. Brandon found them in my photo bag and just can't seem to part with them. He puts them away so neatly in his closet at night and can't wait to discover them again each morning. I just love their color!

The last photo was taken today while we washed vehicles... it was such a gorgeous day so we spent the majority of it outdoors. I just can't believe he can still fit in this bucket!

This is all I got...

Time to share some photos of my life outside of photo shoots. I want to do this more often because not only is this blog a place where I can share recent sessions but a place to document my journey as a photographer and day-to-day life.

We got the little pool out the other day for Brandon to swim and this is just the typical photographer's child expression I tend to get EVERY time I try to capture him. He knows all my tricks and often times refuses to look at me... little stinker. You can tell he definitely wanted me to hurry up and take the picture so he could get back to his play.

Big Brother

Another session full of energy! This little man found out quickly that it is much more fun to tackle the photographer to the ground then to play with his little sister. We had fun rolling in the grass. Meet Lance and Brianna... two beautiful children full of life.

Turning 2

Starting the week off with this fun and energetic little guy was such a treat! We sang our ABC's and talked a lot about trucks. I just love photographing 2-year-olds because you never know if they will be shy or have anxiety about getting their photo taken. Not this cutie... he had me running all over the place and making me wish I wore my tennis shoes!
